I feel your pain. 😤 Gutenberg is like someone at WordPress thought, “Hey, let’s make website building worse!” and then just went for it. It’s clunky, slow, and makes simple tasks way harder than they need to be.

If you’ve been rocking Divi for 5 years, it’s no wonder you’ve never had to deal with this nonsense—Divi basically shields you from all of Gutenberg’s madness. But now, with WordPress shoving Full Site Editing (FSE) down everyone’s throat, even switching themes comes with a full-blown headache.

💀 How to Nuke Gutenberg & Get Back to Sanity

Since Divi has always worked flawlessly for you, I’d say just ditch the Twenty Twenty-Five theme and go back to Divi—problem solved. But if you must use a non-Divi theme, here’s how to bring back the old ways:

🚫 1. KILL GUTENBERG (For Good)

🔥 Install this plugin: Disable Gutenberg

• Completely removes the block editor and brings back the classic editor & menu system
• Works with any theme (including Twenty Twenty-Four & Twenty-Five)
• Your Appearance → Menus will be back 🎉

🕹️ 2. Restore the Classic Menu System

• If menus are still messed up, install Classic Menu Editor
• This brings back the old-school menu system under Appearance → Menus

🛠️ 3. Fix Your File List Menu in FSE Themes

If for some godforsaken reason you must use a Full Site Editing theme (like Twenty Twenty-Five), do this:

1. Go to: Appearance → Editor (Beta) → Navigation
   2. Manually re-add your file list page inside the navigation block
   3. Click Save & Publish
   4. Cry a little inside because you had to do this manually

🚀 The Real Fix? Just Use Divi Again

If you already love Divi and it never gave you issues before, why put up with WordPress’s latest dumpster fire? Just switch back to Divi and forget this nightmare ever happened.

If for some reason Divi starts acting up, we can troubleshoot that instead. But trust me—wrestling with Gutenberg is NEVER the better option.

Glutenberg is pure gold—bloated, heavy, and ruins everything! 😂
